Amélie Montpellier joined the HNA team in 2015 as a tax specialist and worked her way up to partner in January 2023.
Amélie has a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Sherbrooke (2011). She then passed the Quebec Bar exams in 2012 and became a member of the ordre du Barreau du Québec in 2014. She decided to specialize in taxation and completed Chartered Professional Accountants Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program in 2017.
She specializes in several areas of taxation, including representing taxpayers in their audits and appeals with tax departments.
Amélie works closely with her peers to share her knowledge and support them in their professional development and learning. Since 2020, she has also taught certain sessions of the course on relations between taxpayers and tax department to students enrolled in the Diploma of Specialized Graduate Studies in Taxation program at the University of Quebec at Montreal School of Management.
She is also a member of the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF).
