Farouk Mekideche joins HNA in 2021 as a partner. He worked for several years in one of the four major professional services firms in Quebec before joining the HNA family by integrating the tax department.
After completing his bachelor’s degree in accounting and his master’s degree in taxation, Farouk completed the In-depth GST/HST programs from the CPA Order of Canada and Fundamentals of EU VAT from the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation in Amsterdam. He specializes notably in the manufacturing, retail and real estate sectors, among others. His expertise in indirect taxes has led him to work abroad where he will help companies and governments implement new value added taxes (VAT).
Focused on good communication and proximity with his clients, Farouk ensures to raise issues and opportunities to clients while explaining complex tax rules in the simplest and most efficient way.
